Carolyn Supinka is a visual artist and poet currently based in Corvallis, Oregon where she is a Distinguished Provost Fellow and MFA candidate in poetry at Oregon State University. Her poetry was nominated twice for the Pushcart Prize and her first chapbook, Stray Gods, was a semifinalist in the New Women's Voices Series and published by Finishing Line Press in 2016. She has an MA in Arts Management and dreams of one day managing an art space where people can create art, show their work, and build communities together. From 2013-2014, she was a Fulbright Scholar in Pondicherry, India where she worked on visual art and poetry projects on the theme of journeys and cultural exchange. Her work has been published most recently in Wicked Alice, Poet Lore, Stirring: A Literary Collection, and The Maynard.
