The doctors come still.
There’s a hypo-taxis in sound.
I find little hands in the sea.
Where did a face, that even
our horses carry, take you?

As this skin literally crawls
back to where it thought it was
because nothing can stay still
long, not even structure. More
dye for the scanned life, looks
through the goggles to know
hourly intervals being so fortunate
to keep track, to know the rotation.
Morning’s always bending to be
understood. Feeling a burgundy
sentiment as September closes
its great big mouth. Any easy
dream to waste about the twelfth
year, when objects became
complicated and the birds began
to talk back. But the promises this
white hallway makes are no difference
to the people who sit and stare
at the lawn with a piece of straw
in their eyes. I’m no expert at living,
I’m simply experienced at falling
down. The spiders will come when
we’re half asleep and looking for dawn.
